As you know we planned to hold 6th International Chestnut Symposium on 3-7 October 2016 at Antalya. However, due to unforeseen circumstances we have decided to postpone the 6th International Chestnut Symposium till the 9-13 October 2017 at Samsun, Turkey. We are sorry for this unexpected situation and the inconvenience to your schedules.
The payments that you made for the symposium will be saved or transferred to your accounts at your request. You can send e-mail to email@example.com for your requests.
We planned to use the abstracts submitted for 2016. However, new abstracts can be submitted by March 1.

The International Centre of Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), through its Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (IAMZ), will award a limited number of grants that may partially or totally cover registration fees, accommodation and travel expenses for the participation at the Symposium.
Candidates must have an abstract accepted by the Scientific Committee and come from CIHEAM countries (Albania, Algeria, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey). Preference will be given to the young scientists from the Southern and Eastern member countries of CIHEAM.
Applications, including a request letter, a CV and copy of the abstract/s of the contribution/s submitted to the Meeting, should be sent before 1 May 2017 to the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (Spain): firstname.lastname@example.org

Samsun is a city with a population over half a million people on the north coast of Turkey. It is the provincial capital of Samsun Province and a major Black Sea port.
